mclide is a personal, non-monetized project. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
What you send
If you join the waitlist, you provide your name and email address. After your signup is saved, you can optionally send a message. Skipping the message does not cancel your signup. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in a message.
I use these details to respond to feedback and, where appropriate, invite a limited number of participants to try the application for free and share feedback. Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to a newsletter or development updates, and does not guarantee an invitation.
Optional usage analytics
If you allow analytics, I use PostHog to understand which parts of the site people view, how long they actively engage with them, how they use interactive controls, and where they stop in the signup process. This includes general device and display information and limited referral and campaign information about how you reached the site.
Analytics starts only after you allow it. You can decline and still use the site and forms. You can stop further optional analytics through Analytics settings in the footer. Stopping collection does not recall information already sent.
Analytics is limited to the current page visit; I do not use it to recognize you across visits. Typed form details, submission identifiers, verification tokens, arbitrary URL parameters and full referring-page paths are excluded from analytics. Session replay and automatic capture of page interactions are disabled.
Service providers and security checks
Form submissions are processed through Google Apps Script and stored in a private Google Sheet. Optional analytics is processed in PostHog's US region. Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Turnstile verification to help protect submissions from automated abuse. Submission verification is separate from optional usage analytics. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum for information about its processing.
These providers process information needed to deliver their services, which can include network information such as an IP address. I do not retain IP addresses or location derived from them in analytics events. Providers may still receive IP addresses when you connect to their services and keep separate security logs. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by the providers.
I do not sell or rent your personal information or use it for advertising. I use service providers to operate the site, process submissions and, if you allow it, understand site usage.
Browser storage
Your analytics choice applies to the current page visit. Analytics settings lets you change that choice. Analytics uses temporary memory and does not place a tracking identifier in cookies or browser storage.
If you allow analytics, limited referral and campaign information may also accompany a form submission to help me understand how people found the site. Declining analytics does not prevent you from submitting a form.
Keeping information
I keep signup details and optional messages in my active records for no more than 30 days from each submission. This also applies to contact lists, exports and correspondence containing those details that I control, except the limited no-contact record described below.
I keep optional analytics while I evaluate this short project and delete it when that evaluation ends.
Service providers may retain recoverable history, backups and security records under their own retention and deletion processes. Deleting active records does not immediately erase all provider-held copies.
Contact preferences and privacy requests
To stop further invitations or feedback follow-up, email [email protected]. I keep only the minimum record needed to respect that preference while invitation or feedback contact continues, then delete it. It is not used for other purposes.
For privacy questions or requests concerning your information, email [email protected].
